It’s Big, 10% Water, But We’ve Never Served Anybody on a Boat in Oneida County
Oneida County was formed when parts of Lincoln County were split off to create this new county. It is named after the Oneida tribe, one of the original five Iroquois nations. Although Tiffany glass dome on its courthouse is a masterpiece of glasswork, what most people know about Oneida County is the summer recreation opportunities it offers. Some cities, like Minocqua, can see their summertime population triple. With larger cities like Rhinelander and a number of vacation homes in the county, there are a lot of papers to be served at any given time.
No matter what you have to serve or where it’s going in Oneida County, we serve it for one low rate.
The county itself is fairly large. By landmass, it is the tenth largest county in the state, making the 10% of it that is water about half the size of Milwaukee County, the most populous county in Wisconsin. Serving this large county full of lakes and rivers could be very expensive if your process server charged by the mile. Fortunately, Southeast Wisconsin Process never charges mileage or attempt fees. Regardless of where in Oneida County your papers are going, you will pay the same flat rate. While we’ve never had to make an aquatic serve, we are open to the idea, given the right circumstances.
There’s only one city, no villages, but a lot of towns in Oneida County and we serve them all:
- Lake Tomahawk

- Pine Lake

Besides our flat service fees, one other great thing about Southeast Wisconsin Process is we don’t charge differently depending on the kind of papers you have to serve. Whether it’s a divorce, subpoena or money judgment, the cost to attempt service is the same. Plus, we have a full time office staff ready to answer any questions you may have. All of our fees are disclosed up front, so there will be no surprises when your affidavit of service is returned to you.
